How To Direct Message Someone On Instagram
To send your first DM on Instagram, take an image as you generally would. You can use all the same filters to "DM photos" as you can with all other Instagram articles. When you're ready to send it straight to someone (or a group of individuals)-- tap NEXT customarily.
From the Share to food selection to the top of the screen, tap DIRECT (see # 1 in screenshot below). Currently tap inside the Write a caption ... window, as well as kind out your message (see # 2 in screenshot listed below).
When you're done composing your message, faucet OK.
Now scroll via your list of Instagram calls and tap the circle alongside their name to ensure that a green "check mark" shows up. KEEP IN MIND: you can choose more than one recipient if you intend to share a message or image with a group of individuals.
