What Video Format Does Instagram Use
Firstly, don't try and also post significant videos, whatever is downscaled to an optimum size of 1080 pixels (height can be anything, square or otherwise), so uploading ultra-HD videos (or videos with an extremely high bitrate) is pointless.
We transcode the video after you upload it, so it will certainly take a bit longer for you to upload a video data than it provides for a photo data. That allows you see a preview of exactly what the video that we will upload will look like by clicking the video symbol/ thumbnail on the article.
Expect videos to take a long time longer than pictures to in fact upload at your scheduled time and day. This is because of their family member filesize when we upload it to Instagram.
How long can your videos be?
Instagram restricts videos to 60 seconds, so make sure your video is 60 seconds or less or it will be cropped instantly (see Instagram aid document).
How brief can your videos be?
videos have to go to least 3 secs long or Instagram won't allow us publish them (see Instagram assist paper).
Comprehensive video requirements
Videos don't need to be to the below specification: nevertheless we suggest that if you're outputting video files particularly for the function, keep them shut!
-Composition Size: maximum width 1080 pixels (elevation anything, although within the exact same proportions as photos).
-Structure Rate 29.96 frames per second (max 30fps, but must be repaired, not variable).
-H. 264 codec/ MP4.
-5,500 kbps video bitrate (although Instagram may decrease this to 3,500 kbps when we publish it).
-AAC audio codec at 44.1 kHz mono (up to 128kbps).
File dimension isn't really specifically limited by Instagram, but we suggest maintaining your videos under 50MB. Schedugram has a 150MB file size limitation when you are publishing documents. For reference, a lot of 60 2nd videos submitted to Schedugram are around 30MB.
