Video Instagram Format
What Format Are Instagram Videos
Firstly, don't attempt and publish substantial videos, everything is downscaled to an optimum width of 1080 pixels (elevation can be anything, square or not), so submitting ultra-HD videos (or videos with an extremely high bitrate) is pointless.
We transcode the video after you upload it, so it will take a bit much longer for you to upload a video file than it provides for an image file. That lets you see a sneak peek of just what the video that we will post will resemble by clicking the video icon/ thumbnail on the post.
Anticipate videos to take quite a while much longer than photos to actually publish at your scheduled time and date. This is due to their family member filesize when we post it to Instagram.
The length of time can your videos be?
Instagram limits videos to 60 seconds, so make sure your video is One Minute or less or it will be cropped automatically (see Instagram assist record).
Just how short can your videos be?
videos should be at the very least 3 secs long or Instagram won't let us upload them (see Instagram help paper).
Detailed video specs
Videos don't need to be to the below spec: nevertheless we recommend that if you're outputting video documents specifically for the function, keep them shut!
-Make-up Dimension: maximum width 1080 pixels (elevation anything, although within the very same proportions as photos).
-Structure Rate 29.96 structures per second (max 30fps, but need to be fixed, not variable).
-H. 264 codec/ MP4.
-5,500 kbps video bitrate (although Instagram could minimize this to 3,500 kbps when we publish it).
-AAC audio codec at 44.1 kHz mono (up to 128kbps).
File size isn't specifically restricted by Instagram, yet we advise keeping your videos under 50MB. Schedugram has a 150MB file size limit when you are publishing documents. For reference, the majority of 60 second videos submitted to Schedugram are around 30MB.
