Make A Picture Collage For Facebook
Facebook Cover Image's Size
The secret to making a Facebook Timeline cover photo is the measurements. Or, extra specifically the ratio of the size to size, known as the Facet Proportion. A bit of research turns up the fact that Facebook's excellent proportion is 851X315. Not sure why it's 851-- that sounds a bit odd to me. 850X315 works fine.
To achieve this with Picasa, you need to establish a personalized aspect proportion. On either the Crop dimensions drop-down box, or the page Layout drop-down box, you'll see the capability to 'Add Custom-made Aspect Ratio' at the end of the checklist. Choose that and simply enter 850X315. See a previous pointer: Resizing a Picture's Elevation as well as Size.
Actions for a Collage to be a Facebook cover photo
-The appropriate facet ratio for a Facebook cover image is 850X315 (see tutorial video: Resizing Photos to size and also height) Use the page layout setting to change to that ratio.
-Re-crop the history photo to the 850/315 ratio as well.
-Shrink and move 3 little pictures to lower right in order to include your profile picture (avatar) in Facebook
-Develop collage, then Export results. Select 850 as the export dimension (this is not called for, Facebook will certainly resize as long as the proportions are right.).
-Log right into facebook and float over your cover photo, click where it states 'Change Cover' and also Upload the exported collage.
-Save Changes.
